Hello,
I'm new to this forum and wondering where the best place too post set up questions for my HDX 450 would be?

I'm new to Heli's, but have been into planks for a long time. There are a few steps in the manual that came with my Heli that defy everything I think I know about how things fly. Tail rotor controls, servo direction, reactions to stick input and a few other bits don't make sense to me. I'm open to being wrong, but I kinda think it's not me... :arggg:

Have you looked at and watched the Finless HDX 450 build videos?

Did he do the ones that helidirect puts out on their ebay ads? If so, not yet but I have most of them DL'd

Also check out his Trex 450 videos. LOTS of good info in there about CCPM setup, Tail setup and Pitch/Throttle Curves.

Phaseman,
I also built an HDX450 SE v.3. The Finless video ships with this model and is invaluable in construction. This was my first Heli build and couldn't have done it without Bob's (Finless) help. As Pinecone said, be sure to check out all of the Finless build videos pertaining to the HDX and T-Rex. CCPM setup, Gyro Setup, ESC Setup, etc. I even watched, (several times) the Soldering of Bullet connectors and Deans plug connectors that he made.
