What do I have to buy when I buy an empty kit. Which blades, engine, and how much will it cost? I already know the kit costs 1250 euro, but its the only 2stroke allowed on our flying field.

you will need....
1700 AA nicad pack
NHP 710 Razor Pro main blades
NHP 95mm Tail Blades
OS 91FX-HGL reverse rotation motor
3x9206 servos for CCPM
3DNT starter adaptor (reversed one way bearing)
Hatori 700 tuned pipe
3DNT specific header...
Best accessories are...
CSM 560 Micro Gyro (due to instalation space the 601 is just hard work to fit)
Throttle Jockey Pro (with auto glow) this helps with reducing bogging on straight fuel...

revolutionmodels doesn't work, I'll try cyberheli for the servo's, hatori, engine.
I think I use a TJ pro and a 401.

if you already have the 401 then go ahead, but if u are buying now get the 560 micro and 9254 servo...
You wont want a 601 after that

Go the 560 micro route with 8700g or 9254, preferably the 9254 as there is less wearing in the gears after a while.
My 601 sits on the shelf since using the 560, all my helis have a 560 in.
Also good to note is that the back up on CSM products is the best you can get.

I'll think about it, the only thing I heard about CSM is that its hard to set up. 401 with 9253 would be good enough, and I have seen that the 560 costs more without servo. I'll think about it.

Actually the 560 micro is very easy to setup, but to get the best from it, it requires a little bit of tweaking of the mechanical setup (very easy to do) by way of the tail pushrod length in normal mode...
You will be amazed at its performance once it is set tho

Hello,
The new little helicopter will be a complete carbon-aluminium 50size version with 1,35m rotor.
There are two versions as an modular construction which can be changed into the respectively other version in a couple of minutes.
The fuel version is designed for a OS 50 or equal type of engine. The gear ratio is 8,8 : 1 : 4,9 and the weight ready to fly inclusive 600mm-140g blades without fuel is 2,95 kg.
The electric version is designed for a 5S4P LiPo battery. There are different engines and gear ratios possible. I will offer some well tested sets with the helicopter. The weight ready to fly inclusive full charged battery and blades is about 3,1 kg
Flight time with this pack varying between 10 and 15minutes depending on your flying style. I prefer 10 minutes total fun with a full opened speed controller which gives you between 1700 and 1900 revs on the head and the power very close to the OS 50 without any noise.
Details and pictures will be shown on my web site at the beginning of Mai.
I planed to start the distribution for the electric version in end of June and the fuel version end of July.
Best regards
Jan Henseleit
