I am new to heli's. I bought a blade cx about 3 mo's ago, had alot of fun and then decided to move up to a blade cp pro. Out of the box the pro would not hover after a few crashes I replaced the stock head with a CNC aluminun head but I am still having trouble and need help.
The copter wants to walk to the left before lift off, and then after take off veers to the right. When I look at the blades they are running o.k although one of the blade arms seems to be pitched quite a bit differrently.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

look at the 2 links that connect to the flybar cage. the top 2 links. they should be equal in length. if not then what i do is i put a board through the skids and then put enough weight on it to where it wont lift off. spin up to mid stick.. check your tracking. its way easyer if you have some sorta colored tape on the ends of the blades. if you have the stock woodies then it should have it. neways if lets say the black taped blade is the one running high. then kill the power once its done spinning unplug the battery. and adjust the link that is connected to the black taped blade down a full turn. check again. if that fixed it and your tracking is good. id flick into idle up to check that its still good. the book covers tracking the blades better.
my cpp would have been a crash the second it lifted off when i got it home. luckly my first one the 3n1 was shot. so they replaced the heli with one from another box. my heli guy down there checked it over and he had to redo everything. the flybar was loose in the head. one paddle was faced teh wrong way...

My Pro always skids a little to the left on takeoff, but is pretty stable in flight, so if you can't get a perfect takeoff don't worry about it, just make sure it flies good after you take off.
