Hi All,

I am very new. I just received a new FF-100V2. The heli and Tx came with exactly ZERO instructions of any kind. I have never had or flown a CP heli before. When I tested out the system to see if it even powers on (no blades attached yet). I turn on the Tx making sure it has full battery power and Left-Hand throttle is at minimum as well as throttle trim at minimum. I connect the battery to the heli which immediately goes to FULL RPM. I have attached a picture of the Tx. Can anyone tell me what the heck all those switches are and how to set the radio so I AM in control of the throttle and not the unseen forces in the universe? Thanx for any help.

PS - I also need to know about screw tightness...the FF is a mostly plastic heli and the screws are just threaded into the plastic (no nuts on the other end)...how tight can they be before stripping out the plastic? Do I use Locktite or something else?

Hello,
I have the same thing, didn't have the same issue though. Now two things though, based solely on that photo:
1. your throttle stick is at 1/2 throttle right now Hope it was all the way down when you plugged in the battery
2. that Tx has idle-up mode, see, it says "Idle Up"...that's "Stunt" mode...100% throttle across the board...away is normal, towards you is idle-up. Make sure it's toggled away from you.

I'll go look at mine. I haven't even flown it and am selling it to pay for parts for my MiniTitan that just had a mishap.

I know they do fly though, my EP100 PRO flies extremely well. I know this one can do it but like you I just got it the same time I crashed my MiniTitan and need $ for parts.

However, if you can, I'd say shelve this for now and get something larger to learn on, then pick it back up when all the switches and settings make sense. These micro-heli are proportionately harder to fly due to their size.

Hey, Thanks for answering!

The throttle stick was at minimum when I first tested it out...its just up in the photo.

So, the Idle-Up switch should be set to "NOR" as its marked on my Tx for normal flying, right?

What about the other switch on the right side...the THR-HOLD switch...which way should that one be set?

Thanks for your help!
