G10 is a plastic composite that is used to make circit boards. its not as light as carbon fiber but it is pretty strong for the weight ratio.
so when he says he wants a G4 in G10 it sounds confusing but he is really saying
can I buy a model of the G4 without carbon fiber.

I know what G10 is, the question was why would he want G10 over carbon?

Cause I crash alot! I cant afford to be replacing carbon fiber frames. Last crash I got a little to confident and a little to low on a backwards reverse hurricane and well when it hit it flipped and bounced and rolled off the ground and I bet that would have broke carbon fiber frames My G10 survived.

G10 is an excellent material. It is also non conductive, unlike carbon fiber. No radio issues with G10 for sure.
It's a matter of choice. Most people prefer carbon fiber because of the bling factor and the weight savings. G10 is heavier but very tough. It will flex on an impact before fracturing. Carbon fiber just fractures.

To my point of view G10 is the way to go we all know trex's can handle a little extra weight.
