Does anybody have experience with a Hobbywing ESC ? I'm interested in buying a Hobbywing Pentium 40 OPTO (40 Amp) ESC with a UBEC that goes with it. The BEC looks like a 3A one. This combo is about half the price of a Hacker. It is about $80 for ESC and $30 for UBEC (in my country that is)

Does anybody know if this is good enough for my Mini Titan. I blew my 25 Amp ESC this weekend. Fried some of the components in the PC Board. Donk't ask how, because I don't know. All I do is hover and I have just started to do figure 8's.

Thanks for the help.

I have seen good reports about the Pentium80 ESC. I think the combo you have listed will work fine. Get the programming card too, it makes life simpler.

I have not heard any comments good or bad about the governor mode, indeed, from the info in the link you provided it doesn't appear to have a governor mode. If that is important to you perhaps send them an email to get clarification.
