I'm becoming really interested in buying the new TREX 600 nitro Pro after being such a fan of the TREX 450 and just wanted to get the overall view on fit and finish, quality, any problems or potential problems and basically how well it flies and any other info that would be helpful in selecting this beautiful looking heli? thanks

I am very pleased with mine. The performance is excellent. There are a few minor issues with the initial kits but these are being resolved as we type. There were some warped fans, mine is fine. The first kits had clutch problems and liner problems, mine was changed out to a thicker liner like the raptor 90 liner.

These issues are being worked on and are being addressed by Align, so I would expect to see tighter tolerances on the clutch in the near future.

I fly my Nitro kit almost every day, nothing has failed, broken or cracked in flight. I would not hesitate buying this kit, the minor issues can be easily worked around and the bird flies so well and makes excellent power its well worth it.

You will have no regrets, as Ticidytoc said Align is working everything out and future kits will only improve. Not that the 1st kits were bad just minor stuff that is eiasly over come. I have built helis for many years that included GMP crikets, hirobo, kalt, MA and the align helis are great. I have a 600E, 600N and 2 450's and they all fly well.

That's what I also want to hear. I am getting one of the basic version sometime this month or as late as early next month. I am glad to hear that the quality is not bad.

I am VERY pleased with mine as are the others in our club that have them. Only a couple of problems that like others have said can be overcome quite easily.

The performance is awesome and the build quality is great. I am very impressed that this kit was released so quickly (took MA forever with the Razor) and it has such great quality parts, parts fit is great, and the performance is the best in 50 size helis!

Go for it..................don't and look back :)

Awesome machine.. flies fantastic. I have a small fleet of helis and I fly this more than anything else. The issues that have been stated all over this board are easily overcome and are pale in comparison to how it flies. Im just mad I didnt order two

I love mine and i would like to say mine was one of the first kits and i had no problems with the so called fan or clutch problems. The 600 Nitro pro and my DX7 is such a joy to fly, The best 50 size i have ever had the joy of flying.

WELL, i started on mine last night and the first thing i did was check the clutch and bell, way too much space so i changed the liner, taking the old liner out was easy as there was hardly any adhesive holding it to the bell. the pinion gear wasn't locktited either. anyway just a small gripe. the rest of the heli seems to be really good. i am now working on making my optical sensor smaller so it will fit on the inside of the frame. This is going to entail removing the ir light and the collector and relocating them in a much smaller package. c-ya Ron
