I have used G2, then switched to reflex.
I enjoyed reflex over G2 due to the realism of graphics and flight characteriestics (that is, only until I found some good 3D models to download).
With that in mind, I tried my friends G3 today and while the graphics don't look as real time as reflex, the graphics are still superb and realistic (just a bit more video game feeling). Basically, the graphics are just as good, it just doesn't look like you are at the field like reflex.
My final thought regarding G3 is that for some reason, I really liked it better then reflex - the flying characterisics are pretty close to real time and the flying environment is much more enjoyable. Something about the color and video game quality pulled me in.
If you want great almost spot on flying characteristics with the quality and feel of a high end video game - then G3 is for you!!
If you can do a 3D maneuver on G3, you can emulate it at the field 200ft. up, puckered up with a cigerette on hand for after the attempt.
I will be getting one.
