Upgrading TP 1010C...

...If you are thinking about upgrading the firmware for the Thunder
Power 1010c to version 2.2a. DON'T DO IT!!!! I did and it killed my
charger, and would have killed my power supply had I not caught it
in time.
Half way through the firmware update it stopped, the screen went
blank, then the light went out, the fan stopped, and it just DIED!
Got ahold of Mark @ Thunder Power and he said that there were
currently no chargers in stock at this time and it would probably be
a couple of weeks. And, he told me they are still having problems
with that version of the firmware upgrade. THANKS TP, at least you
could have a warning message on your web site! :arggg: :bomb:

Oops!, you are right ( I guess the field is not the only place I "dumb
thumb ) :oops: The version I upgraded to is 2.2a ( corrected in original
post ) thanks for calling my attention to it.

Now all I have to do is wait.............until TP gets my charger fixed or
replaced. :arggg:
