Axe antenna

I crashed my Axe CP yesterday: not too bad in terms of damage on the whole but the receiver antenna got cut in half somehow on the landing skid. Is it possible to simply solder the two pieces or do I need to replace the whole antenna? Also, has anyone tried a micro antenna on an Axe? Thanks!

You could just solder it back together. It's not that critical as you will usually fly close in while learning.
