No HB Pro yet. Kyle are you and your dad going to stay over there or just drive back and forth. Ho by the way HC I got in my first inverted auto's on sunday. Not pretty and no tent frames or tables but none of my normal crashes either.

We are staying at a hotel. Not sure where yet my dad is doing that. Hopefully the weather is good this weekend and next so I can get in some good flights in with the fury because i dont want to start flying it that weekend. I want to do an inverted auto :( . Maybe just maybe. Probably not on my third weekend flying it though, darn.

I'll see if I can't take off the Thursday before and drive down. It'll be much easier if I can find someone to come down with me...looks to be about a 15 hour drive from VA BCH. I'll see what I can't pull off, but still not for sure...

I rented a room at a local hotel about 20 minutes from the field, the room is roughly $80 a night and that is by far the best deal tobe had. The room is a double occupency so if anyone is looking for a bed I have one available, it will be roughly $42 a night per person.

Looks like I'm going to be coming pending a leave request...which there shouldn't be any problems with that. Here I come warm, sunny FL!!! I definitely could use a break from this cold stuff we've got up here!!!

Asked for Friday off, but found out I have a concrete pour that morning at 12am :(
We'll see.........if anything, maybe just drive over early Sat. Morning and come back Sat. night....would prefer to stay Sat. night though ;)

you guys got any idea how far the field is from the airport? i might try to make this one. I've flown in to the punta gorda/charlotte county airport many times, is this the closest one?

It is about 7 miles from the airport. Yes that is the closest. The airport is right on the way from I-75
