Hi Will:
We got to do that restaurant thing again at Port Charlotte, like we did at Clint's BB. That was fun, especially when you had IRCHA thinking they were going to have to pay the Bill. They got some good restaurants in Port Charlotte like Carraba' and the Outback. (No Longhorns)! Maybe we ought to have an anitiation for Nick into the Fury family, he crashed his first Fury this weekend.(notice i say his first)! I was spotting for him whatching him do Tic-Toc's, he did a 360 to a sudden stop and then it went into the most beautiful piro's. I started smilling, wow Nicks got a new trick! Geuss what it was doing its own thing. Nick lost all control of the tail, something failed.
Thankfully with the help of all his Helli-freak friends who came to his aid we expect to be ready for Port Charlotte. I got to tell you, we cant give enough thanks to guys like Clint and Ray who were really concerned about getting Nick back in action. I cant say enough about Miniature Aircraft who came to Nicks aid in getting a new kit here fast-fast. Thanks to you all.

I'm flying down to Fort Lauderdale/Miami on Thursday before the FF. My rental car has unlimited miles and I am thinking about making the drive across on Saturday to spend the day there. I believe it is around 180 miles. I won't have my heli but maybe I can find someone I know to let me get a flight or two in. :wink:

Does anyone have an address for the flying field or one close to it so i can get a map there and directions. Or does ajnyone have detailed directions

If you are coming in the back way, it is right on HWY 17 just past the new wall-mart super center. If you are coming down I 75 the directions are posted earlier in the post. There is no address to the flight field it is in the middle of the country.

I have a room in the hotel with the Giles, I am looking for someone to split the $80 bucks a night. The hotel is 20 mins from the field.
