I started flying last summer. I have made it to a T-Rex 450SA at this point and am trying to work out the bugs.
My question is about glitching. I got it down to a very small glitch and can't seem to cure the rest. I have the CF frame and am wondering if an Alm. frame would remove the rest.
Myself and a friend are learning together and seem to hav the same problems.
Equipment:

Mine... Friend Dan's...
T-Rex 450SE Heliup T-Rex Copy
Futaba 9C Spectrum DX6
Hitec Electron 6 Spectrum Receiver
401 Gyro and Digital 401 Gyro and Digital
Servo Set Servo Set
Hitec 65S Servos Hitec 65S Servos
Align 430 motor Align 430 motor
Align 35 ESC Align 35 ESC

Set Up:
ESC in front of motor on bottom tray. Receiver in rear of heli frame on bottom. Gyro mounted under tail boom. Ferrit ring on ESC wire close to receiver. Receiver antena does not come in contact with CF frame at all. Tail belt well lubed with silicone lube(for rubber plastic and metal).

When we pull servo wires away from frame on friends, his stops twitching. Mine does not seem to improve upon what I have already done.

Still learning to fly and can now hover quite well. Can turn heli but stills scares the crap out of me. We both can fly our Blade CX's any way we feel. I will get there soon but glitching has got me spooked.
Can any body help ? Is the Alm. frame a good option ?

Just my opinion,
I'm running a CF frame, HS56HB's, GY401/JR3400G on tail, FUT T9CHP, 146ip rx, electronics located same as yours. I'm not using a ferrite ring and the ESC to RX wire is routed right on the CF frame. I've never experienced any glitches with this setup.

I'm a firm believer in PCM at the very least or the new DX or FUT 2.4ghz systems. I think a 146ip RX coupled with your 9c would eliminate your problems.

Food for thought:
I've had 2 bad crashes during FFF with a CF frame and tail boom. With each crash i approached my TREX thinkin, "frame and tail boom gotta be thrashed"... i was wrong, not a scratch on either CF parts. If these 2 parts were aluminum they would've been bent for sure.

I dunno how much aluminum frames are, but a nice used 146ip RX costs about $60.

Hope this helps you!
