:D Hey guys. I'm new to this site and just as new to helis. My question is simple. I bought a Heli-Maxx Axe CP as an intro to RC Helis. It has ECCPM, E for Electronic, and has one unit that controls BEC/Gyro/Mixing all in one and comes with a 5 Channel radio that mixes the throttle in with the gyro functions in the radio itself. I bought a Futaba T6EXHP Heli radio and I've got all functions up but no throttle. Can I use this combo? I bought the radio cause I was shopping for a micro receiver for a small plane, so if I have to go out and buy another heli to work with this radio, oh well. I know the Heli-Maxx MX400 will work with this radio.

Thx Ed :fly

Found Bob's videos. And Ray's separations info, so I'll go from there first. :glasses2:

Hey Ice,

If you're talking about the 6EX 2.4Ghz Fasst system.. It's NOT compatible with the Stock 3-in-1 on the AXE. Been there, done that.. It's a shame but Futaba told me to jump off a cliff basically..

Still using stock radio on AXE and using the 6EX on my new HDX 450 so it all worked out, just sucks that there's something between the 3-in-1 and the 6EX Receiver that won't work.

Hey VBDave. I hope you didn't jump.

I've got a Futaba T6EXHP 72 Mhz. I'm considering going with separates. Can do it for around $120.00. If I can't I'll just buy another heli and go from scratch. That's the hobby way isn't it?

Can't let a good radio go to waste. Talk to ya later.
