peanut in the turd.....

every time ive said i havent been able to get my heli trimmed out right since switching to the dx6. here is why

i woud lift off then land , hit th, trim, turn th off, spin up , lift off. and repeat.. ive had to fight my pro for the longest damn time..

turns out when i would hit th, then trim. then switch out of th. i had altered the settings for when i hit throttle hold.. and not when throttle hold is off and im flying..

so guys if i were you i would right down your trim settings and transfer them over to idle up, and th.. other wise when you flip a switch all yoru trims get cracked out till you flip the switch back...

That has never been a problem for me cause I never use the throttle hold switch on my CPP. There is a page in the back of your manual that is basically a form to fill out all your settings. Make a few copies and your set. I can send you a copy if your manual doesn't have it.

why dont you use throttle hold. i love having throttle hold. before i got my dx6 there was a few times that i had glitch while picking up my pro and i got smacked by the blades.. once that battery is plugged in if the heli isnt spinning throttle hold is always on

throttle hold is good when you crash in idle up too. get use to the habbit, same goes for flying bigger birds.

Yeah I am working it into my flight routine. The kids around my apartment are damned near reatarded. so I have started using the TH a lot.
Today I took my rex out front and the kids formed a line to the left of the heli about 3ft away from the blades!!! I told them that they needed to stand away because this heli could kill them or send them to the hospitol...they laughed and sat down!!!
So I throttled up and ramed it into them. Guess they know better now.
LOL
Just kidding. I picked the heli up and walked away, than snuck out a few mins later.
