View Full Version : Has anyone tried the Bp Hobbies 18 amp ESC or the ELE ESC?
Do they work fine for 3 servos and a gyro with separate tail esc on the bec with 3S Lipo? Like to get some real world answers on whether it would work?

im not sure man.. id just pick up a castle creations esc or a eflite one..

I can't say for sure but based on what I have read from GinoCP I think you would be fine with an 18amp ESC.
but its the bec I'm worried about, want to make sure the bec on either of these escs will handle the servos and gyro. BP hobbies says don't use more than 3 servos with 3S lipo, want to hear real world results.

im sure it will be enough the s75 servos dont use much power.. ive been told i could use a eflite 10amp esc if i wanted to with no problems. but you have to watch your gearing... whats your budget ?
are you brushed or brushless ? ive a pixie 20p esc never been used...
its a brushless main, its 3 s75's and a heading hold gyro and tail esc. I think it should work fine myself but what do I know.

ive never had a problem with any of my esc's. running everything. ive never even heard of any one using a bec on a cpp..
