After switching from a Futaba 9CHP to a Spektrum DX7 radio in my Predator Gasser I was adjusting the radio for a stable hover. I did a quick landing to make some adjustments when I leaned over to grab the head button with my palm and got a bit too close with my legs. Whap! Both blades hit just below my knee.

Even with a slow headspeed (just above idle) it was enough to cause two pressure cuts and some good bruising. Plus both main blades were damaged. :arggg: So, now I need to buy a new pair.

I have a Hanson modified (trued & balanced) G231, stock gearing 88/14, Century V3 muffler, Rotortech 115 mm tail blades, and had Rotortech 720 main blades.

So, should I buy (from the Heli-World web site):

Rotortech 720 mm $120
V Blades 720 mm (I don't think these are V-Blades product) $130
V-Blades 710 mm )from V-Blades website) $100
Radix 710 mm blades $115

but weight in autos made it difficult
rotortech 800 at £275.00 pair major ouch ! ! !

Rotortech 710mm's are what I flew on my Gassers. Stock 231 with 6.92 gear ratio at a 1900 to 2000 headspeed.

Well I ordered a set of 710 mm V-Blades today because they are on sale for $100. This will give me the chance to try them out.
