So how's the performance with OS 50 hyper + MP 5 - 50

I am getting this combo to install to the Trex 600 nitro basic version ( which I will get sometime next week ). How's the power ? Is it quiet ?

erniefritz, I saw that you are using this combo on yours. How's that ? Does it fit perfectly without making any modification on the canopy ? If you can post the picture, it will be very helpful. Thanks !!!

Looks like I am getting MP 2 . My LHS just called. So how's the performance with MP 2 anyway ?

The muscle pipe 5 hits the lower plate on the frames,all you need to do is grind a little off the plate.DOUG

I'm flying the MP5 and my friend is running the MP2, they sound a bit different, power looks very close, with the edge to the MP5.

The MP5 always seems to be running rich even when it isn't, just has that sound so I'm not so crazy about it.

I saw it today on our local flying field, and it looked exactly the same as the muffler installed onto JK's heli on his website(I thought the picture those pictures represented the new one piece JK hatori).

I'm running the OS .50H with the MP5 and am very happy with it. Break the motor in properly and get it tuned right. I fly a Raptor 90SE with a OS .91SZH and the power to weight ratio in my opinion of the 600N with the above motor/pipe set up is comparable to my 90. I had a Raptor 50SE with a MP2 and OS .50H and the sound difference between the MP5 and MP2 isn't much at all. The above statement was correct though, the MP5 seems to run rich so determining the proper needle settings is paramount by motor temps.

Sorry for the late reply , my 600 with the MP5-50 is doing great , it's pretty Quiet as 50's go , my flying partner has the Hatori 522 , 1 piece hatori , it seems to make a little more power but it a little louder than my MP5 50. i have a 1 pc hatori on order , i got it from CyberHeli.com , it's part #522 for $70. Guess now i have to get another Nitro cause i have a spare Pipe.... :mrgreen:

Btw, my kit ( basic version ) has arrived. I see a quality there, but the frame is not gonna be able to stay in one piece on crash :)
