Fan nut!

I have the Magnum with an OS 70 installed. Twice now I have had to take it apart to tighten the fan nut. (never started yet) While trying to start, the nut will back out. I last used blue locktite and wrenched it down good.
Should I use red or green locktite? Should I be doing something else?
Am I missing something?

How are you holding the fan while tightening the nut?

It sounds very crude, but I used a pipe wrench.
Motor in a vise, and ratchet wrench with a good amount of tork.
