Hi all

Having being a hidden reader of this fantastic site and using ton’s of info found here (like the finless vids to build my helis), I’m bumping into a charging problem and don’t seem to find an answer for it... so my first post is born.

I'm trying to cycle (3 times) a NiCd 1900 pack with my Robbe Power Peak Infinity 3 charger.
Settings I give are discharge at 1A, discharge volt limit/Cell=1V. charge at 200mA.
Then I start the discharge/charge cycles.
I would expect that my battery would be discharged and charged full 3 times.
However the first discharge goes fine (stops at 6 volts (6cells pack)), the charge starts and works for about 2,5 hours and then ends stating: "end: Flat Limited". (the second cycle doesn't start)
At that moment about 450mA went in the pack... not nearly the 1900 I would expect. (charging in normal mode, battery temp normal)
I tried this with a very old pack (10years+) and a brand new one (bought last week), both give the same result.

I'm wondering what this End: Flat limited means? does it hit a V limit? what should I change in the settings?
In the manual it's noted: since there are so many possible end of process text messages, it's left to the user to interpret those messages using the readings on the screen... doesn't help me...
Is anyone aware of a list of possible messages?
I must say that this charger has a lot of possibilities but the manual is (in my opinion) written for experienced people in mind. And unfortunately I’m not :( …

Thanks for any comments,
