My Spectra G is on the way! Should be here on Friday.

I am wondering how good the clunk is in the main tank. I talked to my reseller and he stated I might want to upgrade it.

Any comments?

The clunk provided in the Spectra-G kit is the best possible fuel clunk/filter that can be used in a gas model helicopter. Any change could only be a downgrade.

Agree with John ,its a very good clunk. I also installed one on my Graphite gasser. I don'y know why someone would say to replace it. Dave

Bill Meador came up with that clunk. He is one of the top experts on gasser helis in the world. Good enough for me to use them without reservation. :)

Thanks Bill!!!

OK thanks! Just got some information from a reseller about buying clunk line and a clunk. He probably was not aware that the included clunk and line was good, they are well respected resellers.

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks guys, this clunk, and the line I use, sometime smaller than 1/8 on the clunk line is good up to 40 cc... Yep, nothing like being a Mississippi redneck, hehe
Good luck to all you on your new equipment!
