I've heard talk of a device to count "hits" which I think are signs of radio interference problems. Are these useful? Where is a good place to get them?

There is really not any great hit counters that are commerically available. With PCM what is needed is a counter that actually counts missed frames. I know of one person that build this type of counter for there own use.

As for the commerical hit counters, most of the time the model is going into hold when the counter finally records the interference. The counter needs to record the incoming signal from the transmitter.
The commerically available ones plug into a slot where the servos plug. They only count after the signal has been interupted to the servos.
