I read that the 50ma charger that came with my Futaba radio will charge this batt. this is a big battery! but will a 50ma charger charge this batt. to capacity? I have a Triton charger that can charge this battery, but I need to know at what amp rate.. I have it set at 3.3amps at this time. anyone have any suggestion? I just got this battery and dont wont to kill it anytime soon... Joel

For a NiMh a 50 ma charger will charge it but it will take DAYS. For a new pack of this type it has been recomended to give them the customary 16 hr charge at 1C (420mah) a few times before you start fast charging them with a high rate. If your Triton will allow you to do it with out timing out I would cycle it a few times at the 1C rate checking the discharge to make sure the rated compacity is there then you can bump up the charge to 2 or 3 amps. Keep in mind that fast charging NiCd & NiMh packs only yeilds about 80% of there true performance. A 16 hr 1C charge yeilds the best.
