This is another heli hazard, does it happen often?
When the rotor of the Honey Bee King struck the table leg. (I'M a Newbee and still learning to hover) A wire was ejected from the blade which pierced the sheet rock wall board!!!
This wire is evidently added to the blades to increase their mass, change the cg, and balance them.
As I stated I am a newcomer to the obsession, do other copters use similar "balance" weights? The HBK2 uses metal rods, like a nail, glued into the blade under the shrink wrap.
