I have a question....on the Raptor 60, set up for mild 3D with the pitch at zero @half stick and +10/-10 endpoints and using a Futaba GV-1, what throttle curve is going to allow you to take off at lower throttle settings? In other words, if you make the throttle curve 100% at the bottom and 100% at the top, where is your idle position going to be...half stick? Using the RealFlight Sim with a Raptor 60, they have the pitch at +10/-10, but the throttle is idle at low stick! Thanks!

Hey softail-2007,
Here are my thoughts
You should have 3 flight modes or more depending on radio.
1.) normal flight: Throttel pitch curve 10 to 20, 35,50,75,100 ( 5 point )
Pitch= (-6 or -4 or -2), (+5 or +6), (+10 or +11) ( 3 Point)
2.) Idle up or 1 = Throttel pitch curve = 100,80,60,80,100 ( 5 point )
Pitch = (+11 or +10), 0, (-10 or -11)
3.) Idle hold = Throttel curve 15,15,15( idle) ( 3 point ) or there abouts
Pitch = +11, 0, -8 ( 3 point ) or there abouts
These are approximate ranges. You have to fine tune.
Better yet check out " raptortechnique.com". Mr .Mike Prewitt has an excellent
web site for raptors. :wink:
Hope this may be of help
Regards :lol:

Lamar....what is "idle hold?" I don't think the 9303 has such a feature, unless you are referring to Throttle Hold, for autos. Thanks!

Yes sir, I mean "throttle hold". :oops: I call it idle hold sometimes cause
with "autos"generally the throttle is at an idle position.
Sorry for the mis-speak. :?
