OS91SZ cline or OMI mod

Hello i have a question about OS91SZ. I have 2 Stratus running YS91ST but i have also a new OS91SZ and i want to test it with 8.18 gear.

But i'm interesting about the OMI mod for this engine.

If i buy only the cline directly from Bill Cline will i have the same result? The BB carb is only the old 60K carb or OMI have done also a BB mod for 60M carb of 91SZ?

Also the Viper head will have big improvement in power also for my YS or run better for OS?

Let me know if the carb plus Cline OMI combo is a must or i can do it by myself installing the cline on my 60M carb.

Buying the Cline from Bill Cline will be the same regulator. But when OMI installs the Cline, they do some modifications to the carb and regulator.

James at OMI also has a mod for the 91SZ carb (60M).
The Viperhead is not as much a power increase, as it does allow the motor to run smoother and transistion better.

I would only get the OMI Cline combo.

The BigBore carb was a mod only for the Cspec karb (60K)?

Or is also for the SZ carb (60M). But it has already the open area to 10.6 so i don't know...

The combo carb+cline sell from realraptors is the one i need or there is a better mod to buy? (the carb provided is modded?)

The 60K carb is the only that OMI does the Big Bore mod. He opens it up to 10.8 mm from about 10.1 mm that is stock.

The 60M ( SZ Carb) is already 10.6 mm. So James did not see any benefit to boring the carb anymore.

There is several pilots that have used the 60K with Big Bore and Cline on the SZ engine with great results. So if you want to use the 60K that will work fine.

If you get the 60K with Cline and Big Bore from Onlyraptors. All you need to do is drill and tap the back plate for a pressure fitting.

No i will buy from onlyraptors the SZ carb+cline combo they sell only this one. I need to put a check valve between the cap on the back plate and cline or not?

Yes you need to put a check valve in the line coming from the backplate. If this is an OMI carb, the check valve will come with the carb. The check valve is a little black looking piece of rubber that is inserted into the fuel line where it attaches to the backplate.
