Can anyone tell me which Transmitter, Receiver Gyro & Servos to get??? I am new to this but very enthused.

Best by far IMO:

TX: Spektrum DX7 (no other 6ch/7ch system currently available is even worth considering)
RX: Spektrum AR6100 or AR6200 or AR6000
Swash servos: 3 x Hitec HS-65mg (make sure you get the 'MG' metal gear version rather than the'HB' karbonite gear version)
Gyro: Futaba GY401 OR Logictech 2100T
Tail servo: Futaba S9650 OR JR DS3400G
LipoAlarm: PM Efliernz
Batteries:
- Max performance: FlightPower EVO 3s 2170 25c
- Interesting alternative: AirThunder 3s 2200 25c
- Best budget option: Hextronik 3s 2200 20c

Other alternative for radio, is to go with a 9 channel module based Tx and then have teh ability to upgrade to 2.4GHz using Spektrum or XPS modules. 9 channel TXs have more programming features than the 7 ch setups.

Or wait for the JR or Futaba 9 ch 2.4GHz setups to become available.

And realize that with 2.4 GHz you are locked into that manufacturer for receivers. And I like cheap 72 MHz RXs for things like fomaies.
