Nice little helis. I like the little preview LCD on your TX.
Whats with the green/yellow metal? Did you fab all that yourself?
You probably need to isolate the nose mount from your frame a little better, or go to electric

fabbed from .032 and .025 2424 T3 alcad aluminum and epoxy primer paint.
I may go electric down the road.

New camera installed today. Ground check serviceable. I can't wait to test it out. Had a chance to test the flight stabilization system out last time I had it up. All work well together the heli is very stable at TOW 10lbs

Test still on going. Still having some issue with picture quality. I have balanced the blades with the rotor head, Installed new isolators on the gimbal mount, installed swivel joint on the gimbal with some foam to dampen the swaying, it all helped. Yet my picture ratio is 1 good to 10 bad. If any one has some ideas send a post. Here some low quality video to check out.

What equipment do you use to get the image from the camera to the monitor you have on your radio ? If you have any web-links that would be great...

Very cool set up...

This is the items you would be looking for. I am powering them with two 1200 ma 3cell li-po batteries. What you need to do is take the transmitter apart then you strip it down to circuit board. I also remove the not needed audio jacks. Then you take the circuit board and cover it in with heat shrink. The transmitter at this point weighs about 75 grams. You can find them on eBay. I think it cost $50 for the work with shipping.

This is the cheaper option and it works great, lot of range, good video quality. You can get something more expensive if you want too.
Good luck

The same machine with an electric motor.

I have started on eclectic conversion for the Raptor AP, using an Align 600L motor and BL75G speed control. The 1620kv motor is reduced down to rpm’s require with 2:1 reduction gear box. It will be turning 1750 rpm head speed on 620mm blades. My calculations show a minimal weight gain. I hope the 6S 4400mah battery will provide a nice 10+ minute flight time at 11lb total up lift weight.

Here's what have so far. Any suggestions are welcome
