Yep:::: I have all the luck in the world...today while flying I got a small glitch.. an uncommanded up elevator hit...Just pitched up and then was fine.. then I noticed that my servo's seem to be slowing down slightly.. I decided that was enough... I landed and could only see one screw on the YS carb was slightly loose..Ok pack it in for the day... I got home and opened it up to see what was going on... I just bought a new Mini flashlight with 21 leds in it so I thought it would be a good time to use it...I checked the forward channel as that was what caused the last lock out and it was fine but WHHOOOOOAAA what is that....a crack??? Holy $hit the forward frame is cracked from the engine to the switch..a perfect stright line....Carbon rubbing yep..theres the problem...I think that I must have an engine/fan vib..the fins dont show it but it must be there...I swapped this engine from my last crash cuz it has been putting out the power...guess I will have to go on the search to find that now..but anyway Im down for 2 sets of left frame sides.... Who ever said Heli's dont talk to you when things are wrong just wasnt listening....

Yikes!! :wow2: Glad you found the problem in time. You were right - just listen to your heli; it will talk to you and let you know when something isn't right. Let us know if you find the actual cause. Since you switched from OS to YS - did you check the alignment on the clutch stack to make sure the alignment was perfect and no high freq vibes are being transmitted to the frames? Did you dial indicate the fan?

Just a few thoughts...
