Looks like in addition to the white plastic canopy we will have a yellow one to choose from.

Also, the grommets have been changed to hold up to the nitro fuel.

For those that are taking TT gears out all the time there is a multi pack available now.

The tail rod guides have a 4 pack now with a new design.

If you look along the pushrod it's probably not going in a straight line

Whats the purpose of the new servo discs?

looks predrilled to the correct spacing with a captured nut and a 8 point star pattern to get your servo's at as close to 90 without subtrim... :noteworthy

Yeah, I think the servo discs are a slick idea. with the holes already there, it will be a snap to get them spot on.

Muffler looks like a JK "Hatori" selloff? Wonder if he sold them rights to that....?

I saw a picture of the muffler on www.thetrexforums.com showing it anodized blue. I'm confident it's a Hatori re-branded, same as the Align Hyper 50 they'll be bringing out eventually.

A new metal fan.

Looking at the muffler they should have left it two pieces. If anyone has seen the SB-50 muffler it's huge and putting something that long bolted directly to your motor seems like asking for a bent pipe or a cracked engine block. I've had a couple crashes where it came down on the skids and the muffler was rotates upwards as the skid flexed and broke. Just my 2 cents.

I just picked up the new servo wheels too for my 9000's.
These are cool for sure! I will be using them in my vids.

Well cool :glasses2:
Just fitted a spare one to my throttle servo - zero subtrim for me

Is the 9000's a new servo and where do you get them from, what are the specs?

I think the 1/8th scale R/C buggy drivers love these servos.
Looks like there are a couple.

Z9000S (0.10 sec transit time)
Z9000T (300oz of torque)

Don`t know if they are meant for heli`s though :dontknow

I'm using the z9000s servos which are rated as follows: Torque: 112 oz/in @ 4.8V, 128 oz/in @ 6V Speed: .08 sec/60° @ 4.8V, .06 sec/60° @ 6V . I am running mine on a 2 cell FP lipo direct with no voltage regulator so the speed and torque values are a bit higher.

Yes I have heard people doing this as the AR7000 RX can also handle the 7.4v 2S volatge. Kinda scary to me (my problem) so I will let you guys run for awhile and see how things fare longevity wise before I make that step.

What are you doing to drop voltage to the gyro and tail servo?
