What is the fastest I can charge a lipo? I know 1c is the given safe norm but does anyone charge there lipos faster then that? I would like to have a fast turnaround but at the same time I dont want to kill a good lipo.
All thoughts appreciated,
Thanks

Hey,
To be safe and not give you any problems with pack longevity I'd stick to the 1c rule.
Most, if not all LiPo's now a days can be charged at 1~2c using the balancers but when it comes to preserving pack life is it worth risking it?
If you have two packs the same capacity and make, with two balancers you could charge them at the same time in series. 2 x 3s packs in series = a 6s pack.
This is how I run my Swift, I couple together 2 x 3s1p packs and charge as one 6s 3700mah pack.

Hey,
Best to I think to preserve your expensive LiPo's, then if something should fail while charging the pack suppliers cannot turn around and blame you for it.

Ive charged > 1C for hundreds of cycles, with new packs there is no issue as long as you balance when charging.Never EVER charge faster then 1C without balancer.
