Hi, I am building a 600N Standard. Did you guys have a hard time getting the thrust bearings seated in the blade grips? Also I seen the "in" label on the one bearing part wich is a no brainer but what does "obverse of bearing faces inside" mean? I put the open side of the bearing facing out torwards the blade, balls protruding through the ball plate facing inward. Is this correct?

Good question

I mounted mine the other way round, so the grease stays in place when the head spins, but by the drawing in the manual it looks like u have it right..

It doesn't matter which way round the ball race goes but Bob recommends having the more open face pointing inwards which helps to keep the grease from flying out and this is what I have always done - the thrust bearings are a bit of a fiddle getting in - on the plastic grips it helps to pry the blades apart a bit while you're jiggling the bearings into place.
