I just put one of these in my Shuttle this morning and all I can say is "WOW!!".

After break in, this puppy just screams (power wise, I have a Hattori muffler on it). It makes the little old Shuttle act more like a .50 and was a fairly simple drop in install. I had to trim the fan shroud and gyro tray a bit to make room for the head but other than that, no problems. The best part was the price. I was looking for either a .37 OS or a .46 (now out of production) but the Toki was only 14,000 yen compared to 20 or more for the OS engines.

I ran about 8 tanks through it today without a hitch and it makes the heli feel so much lighter and responsive. Only problem, that pretty CNC red head has sharp fins. I got little cuts on my fingers that I didn't notice till I washed my hands with alcohol...

They got nice power, they run well with the pipe that comes with them. Only thing to look out for are the screws holding the carb on, they come loose and the carb will leak fuel. I thread locked mine it was little better. :smokin:

PS if you do decide to go with the OS 37 latter on keep the Toki pipe and use it on the OS 37, it will scream

Thanks for the tip! I keep an eye on them.

Mine was w/o a pipe (which is why it was so cheap) but I had recently bought a Hattori that my .32 didn't like very much. The pipe was for the OS .37.

If the Hattori delivers the power its all good, should be a good combo.

Things are getting better all the time. Now with a new gyro (GY401) to replace the old mechanical one and the engine tuned I'm having a blast. Now if I can only learn not to whip the rudder so much (not yet used to the speed of the digital servo and heading hold).

Who needs sex? (That is NOT an offer, btw...) :smokin:

I got a Weston .36 in my totally upgraded and customized ZXX. It gets fed by a Perry pump. I have a stretched boom and run 570mm MS Composite carbon mains on a full metal HHI rotor head.
I would say look in my gallery for some sweet pics but uhh yeah... so check out the pics and my gallery at the RunRyder website... Please don't kill me for saying the RR word.
