Ok guys,

I have been having problems with my receiver batteries. I bought a new 2700 mah nihm figuring it would last for days...slow charged (.2c) with my Triton(1) and took some pics this morning with my Logo 20. Everything was fine in the beginning....readout on the Spartan was 4.8. After 3mins of flight, I lost about 1/2 power, came in for a quick landing. I put in fresh lipos and checked the readout...3.5!

My last pack did the same thing. I cycled it on the Triton and it showed 1100ma on a 1200 pack.

I pulled every servo/power wire one at a time to check for a large drop...nothing.

Maybe my Triton isn't charging properly?

I have an Ultimate BEC HV (45volt) sitting in the drawer. Should I just pop that on and forget about it?

I remember something about a dual setup for redundancy, but how do you wire that?

:?: :?: Tip :?: :?:

I put the UBEC on and it flies great. I wired it to my first 5s lipo in the series. I think my current draw is too much for a small pack with the extra servos, camera + downlink, spartan, etc.

I still want some kind of backup, like another UBEC or battery pack. What's the best way to wire it?

Any opinions?
