Yes, the switch that you plug the battery into and then to the receiver is suppose to come with the tx. At least it did with mine. You are also suppose to get 2 plugs with a wire loop on them. One is for the switch and the other for plugging directly into the receiver when you have another power source for the reciver.

You do not need the switch to bind. You can do it without it. Call Spektrum and they will send you one ...... but it really is not needed ..... and once you bind a few times you probably will not use it.
Mine wasn't there... bought it second hand.
I just shorted the negative and signal pin on the battery input. Worked like a charm.

I'm not sure what you mean Fer, the negative and signal pin on the receiver?, which one is the signal pin?. :? it sure is frustrating though, to spend so much and not get what you ordered. Don't know if it was the store or the factory. i'll call them monday. i'm trying to quit smoking and this sure ain't helping. This place is great though, been lurkin' and learning for months.
Hi again
Here you can se the bind plug. Ca. 2/3 to the buttom.
The outer pins are shorted. If you short the outer pins on the BAT. terminal on the reciever and power up, it will bind.

I have a stupid question. When I bind, am I supposed to bind at mid throttle or with no throttle? Does it make a difference?

Where you bind is the position your servos go to in failsafe. SInce helis do not really "glide" like planks ..... I think the same stick position you would use for an autorotation would be best as the motor will also be off in failsafe. The BR6000 Rx binds in all 6 channel positions. That Rx is mostly used in robotics.
