Hi ladies,
I am composing a contact list for those who wish to participate. This is a list so that lady heli pilots can search for other lady pilots to socialize with...we're not trying to ban hanging out with you awesome guys!!! I'm just trying to find those "few" pilots out there in this world. :)
So, if you wish to be added to this list and receive a copy, PM me!
Thank you!
Jeanette

I sent you a PM Jeanette. I really like what you are doing. It is great to see more than just guys flying helis. Gary Travis's wife also flys, you may want to PM him to get her involved.

My wife wants to learn, but I can't get her to practice on the sim. Maybe I'll put some training gear on my Raptor and buddy box with her. That will be the excuse I'll use to justify the new JR 9303 I ordered today :D

  Very nice Radio!! I got to play with one last weekend. I would definitely consider buying one myself if I did not have a TON of Futaba gear. Easiest radio to program with one buttone I have ever seen. JR scored witht he 9303!
Whirly-Girl ROCKS. We wil do all we can to support her and the other Ladies here and at the fields!!

I agree, Maybe having the ladies at the field will make some of the guys clean up a bit before attending......... Maybe a shave or something.......
Sure would make the group photos better........ Too many scruffy faces and ball caps covering bed head!!!
LOL

I just started flying. My husband bought a Sim. and I can't believe how much it helps. I have been flying a Gohbee. Hopefully I will be able to fly without the trainer cord soon. I think more women should think about flying. It gets your mind off other things.

Hi Rachel!
Welcome to HeliFreak. Which sim did you get? Is your husband also learning to fly, or is he already flying? Keep in touch and let me know if you wish to be a part of the ladies listing I have started.

Cool Joe...your wife can show mine how much fun it is...
I dont know if Ray's has an address...but if you go to Clints he can talk you in from there. Last year we all went to Shoneys for Breakfast and then met at Clints house and from there went to the farm...The GPS coordinates are in the event section.

Sorry it took so long to respond between work and kids and my husband taking up the computer I don't get on this thing often. He bought the G3 and he already flies. He wanted it to learn tricks. I fly when I can. I enjoy the invasions. Everybody is really cool to hang with. I think the next one we are going to bring our kids. That should be interesting.

Hi i am new to this site and i am glad that i found it. I am planning on getting in to r/c Helis this year. Started flying planes the first of this year. Have been using the G3 sim since dec. of last year and love it. My trainer without a buddy box was a Harrier 3D soloed in a week. Love the plane had to recover it so i could see it. My husband showed me how to fly and i LOVE it. Glad to see that there is other women in the sport. :D

Nice to see you here one2fly!!!!!
Keep up the progress. You and your husband will have something great to share...and think of all the jealous guys out at the field!
My hubby and I are head-over-heels intot his hobby. We just bought a travel trailer to make fun flys more "comfortable". (We have a 15-month-old and another due in November...so, that's the reason for why comfort is needed.)
Camping out and flying all weekend long...what a nice vacation!!! We just got back from Bismarck, ND and really enjoyed our first outting in the rig.

I will keep up the progress, my husband almost ready to start teaching me on the heli.
And yes i understand the need for comfort. I have 3 kids 13, 10, and 9.

We have our travel camper and having the little ones "contained" is the operative description in my opinion.......

I wish I could get my wife to leave the shoe shops for a day and see how interesting and fun this hobby is, the only time when she wants me to talk about this hobby (technically) is at night, talking about this stuff helps her sleep :arggg: and she does as soon as I start talking about servos (for some reason  )
