i just got G3 yesterday and i cant seem to figure out how to use my DX7 with it. i plugged the cord in the back of the RF controller, then plugged the other end of the cord in my DX7, ... now what do i do?? is it supposed to work, or am i supposed to flip a switch or enable something...?
and can someone please guide me through the process of downloading one of the models from the Knife Edge site?? i downloaded four models but i dont know how to get them to the "select aircraft" list on the sim.
help is very much appreciated.

plug the DX7 in to the interlink.
while in G3 up top there is a controller menu.
pick your radio...will say something like 8 channel radio or something like that.
once it selected you have to calibrate it using the same controller menu.
after its calibrated you have to map the channels .
go to channel mapping and follow this thread here from heliharry
http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=32326
now for the easy part.
download the the aircraft you want....make sure its being saved as the G3X file.
open up the sim.
under simulation at the top go down to import.
then pick import G3X.
browse to where you saved the aircraft.
pick the aircraft and hit ok. G3 does the rest.
after you get the import was a success message.
got to aircraft at the top.
you will see a new folder called custom.
pick your aircraft and rip up the simulated sky

did it import successfully ?
must make sure you save it as the G3X file .
if your using IE check this link here
http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=27978
if its saved as the G3X file you should be able to see it.
when you open the directory in explorer you should see the downloaded file.
the file should look like this .
aircraft name_EA.G3X
