I'm not sure if I'm asking this in the correct forum but I'm putting together a Raptor 50 and this is the first time I'm using a governor (I currently fly a T-Rex which doesn't need one). I am using the Futaba 9CHPS radio and its instruction manual is pretty much geared towards using their GV-1. I would like to use the AUX input to make adjustments rather than using the pot. Do I plug the AUX input into channel 7 or 8 on my receiver and how do I set up the radio so I can use the pots on the radio to make the adjustments. Any help would be greately appreciated since this will be my first nitro heli.

I have that exact setup. You plug the AUX input into CH7. Make sure you go into the aux chan assignment screen and change ch7 to null since the gov function will be controlled by the govwenor. The model avionics site explaines all the exact numbers and has a cool spreadsheet to calculate head speed. Be fore warned the calibtation can be a pain. The governor is looking for a 150 ms pulse at ch 7 to set up mis poing. Mine was at 152 which gave me fits calibrating.it works really great once set up. Much eaiser than GV1 and more compact. I hope this helps.
