In Ray's Authoritative DVD Series - Helicopters 101 to 1001, Ray shows how to modify the Raptor so that the pitch arm is off the leading edge.
I would like to hear comment from anyone who has done this mod how their raptor's performance has changed/improved and if the mod is worthwhile.

This change was prevalent on the V1 Raptor to cure the "woof". With the new V2 grips and larger spindle and bearings, it is unusual to need it.
I changed one of my V1's to the leading edge configuration and it cured a "woof" problem and made the collective less jumpy.

Not really needed on the V2 or Titan as Jim said.

Thank you for the input.
Great review on Ray's DVD series, Andrew!!
I have to say that buying Ray's DVD's (and the book) was one of the best investments I made getting into this hobby. Fortunately I had also bought a R50 V2 and a XP9303 so the information was very relevant.
I have watched the DVD's over and over and re-visited my Heli a number of times to refine the initial build.
Now - if the Auckland weather will just ease up a little and allow me to get out there and improve my flying that would help too!! Four rainy Sundays in a row now!!
