611 on a Stratus...

Hi,

I've been using 611 gyros with all the helis I've owned until now and I've never been advised to use delays (am I wrong?!!?)...

It is said on the MA site to use the F3C setting (><F3D) and delays (how much?) in order to ease the load that is applied on the open tail gears...

Do you agree with that? How did you set up your helis? (gain+start and stop delays)

I have always used delay. I didn't set in the gyro, but I set in the menu of the 9Z transmitter. If your transmitter does not have a delay feature. I would suggest setting some delay in the menu of the gyro.

This is on the 601. 611 is the same.
