My dad's helicopter flying skills are a bit lacking so he flys my blade cp pro. He uses the G90 gyro and the gws tail motor, but he can't get the thing to hold, and crashes because of this. The tail usually goes nuts and spins around and crashes. He has replaced the gyro and is wondering if he should replace the 3 in 1. He is also wondering if he should just forget the blade and fly his trex 450.

the blade takes some work to get flying good..

the tail not holding is due to the stock eflite packs. upgrade to some electrifly, thunder power. or flight power packs.. flightpower would be the best and there all about the same price.. its the continues amp rating of 8c.. the packs i have listed rang for 10 or 12c up to 20c... you might want to look into a belt driven tail from freestyle-hobbies.com. its 99 bucks after shipping.. it uses some parts from a trex. but you need to have a brushless main.. the other option wich drastically reduces the tail drifting as you fly is to do away with the 3n1 and run a esc for the tail.. i just did this and the tail drift isnt to bad. nothing near what it was before when i used the 3n1.. you will still get a small kick when you punch it but nothing to bad.. the stock 3n1 cannot supply enough power to the tail motor to hold. the belt driven tail is the best route. but again a brushless main is needed and a better pack would be suggested. since he has a trex im sure you have a upgraded charger. but if you dont. electrifly packs CAN be used with the stock eflite charger. if you need anymore help feel free to pm me...
