Hey folks,
I am upgrading my Stinger 30 to a Stinger 50.... what muffler/pipe do I need to go with?
Right now, not sure whether I can afford the Hyper or not. And I may get the YS50 if it will hurry up and make the US market.

The hyper and MP2 is the best combo for 3D flying. This will give you the most power

Sounds good Clay, thanks! CY MPII sounds like a winner.

I love my Zimmerman quiet yet plenty of power with the Hyper. I pull + - 10 @ ~ 80% throttle to maintain 1950 on TT 600s

I would assume that this is the model I am looking for for my Gohbee:
ZMM3025
ZMM3025 - Pro Stainless Muffler 50, 40mm OD, Left: Raptor - 89.99

Yes the Gohbee should be the same as the raptor. I do not know Len, but I have heard he is really helpful. Give him a call if you decide to go with a Zimmy. I wish you were comming down to FL I really want to see one of those Gohbees. I emailed David(?) but did not get a response.

Hey Steve,
Thanks for all the info on the Zimmy. Looks nice. Sounds like it works like a champ also.
David Ellison is owner of the Gohbee company. He is really good about answering emails, etc. I am not sure why he missed yours. Try him at: david@gohbee.com
Or you can PM him here on HeliFreak, his user name is: rotordude
And I can answer a lot of questions for you also. The Stinger is a worthy heli, I can't wait to upgrade to the 50 and get some POWER !! hehehehe

BTW, I wish I could make the FL trip, but just too much distance, not enough time or money !

I'm using the OS Hyper and MPII less than 80% throttle to maintain 1750! Absolutely does not bog down at all.

I think OS must have droped the compresion or something on this motor> I have never tried to set anything like it. It pulls like heck no matter what you do. :glasses2: I have set up 2 with zimmys and they both have really low throttle curves and run ice cold. I am sure the MPII would give it a slight boost in power but it also may make it more touchy with needle adjustments.
