Hawk sport upgrade [Archive]

Hi all,
I am going to install the CN2264 CF control rod for the tail rotor on my hawk sport. I opened the parts package up which has 2 small phillips headed screws and I cannot figure out what these go to. Has anyone used this particular part and if so do you have any directions on how to assemble this? I sure wish they would send directions for clueless people like me. Thanks to all!! :?: :arggg:

Are they VERY small?

If so, are they used right next to the bearing to hold it in?

Yes they are very small but I'm not sure what bearing you are talking about? Do you have any pictures?

Actually, I don't at the moment and I was just guessing because I remember seeing a couple spots that used very small screws next to the bear to ensure it stays seated. My heli is not around me at the moment, but when I see it, I'll have a look.

Did you upgrade/install any bearings?

I replaced all of the bronze bushings with bearings, but I dont know of any spots that had small screw holes in it.

Problem solved. I left it set for a week and when I returned to it, My brain evidently started working again. They were used to attach the ball links. :oops: :arggg:
