range test failure

So, I've flown my TRex for around 160 packs. I realized today I'd never done the range testing I'm supposed to be doing, so I gave it a try. I paced off around 30 paces, then pushed the bind/range test button, and held it, then wiggled the stick. NOTHING.

I let go of the button, and after about 5-10 seconds, everything came back. So I tried it again - same result.

Over the 160 packs I've flown, I've never had issues that weren't pilot or mechanical in nature. The radio/receiver (AR6100 v1.2) have been rock solid.

So, 160 packs says "don't worry about it", but everything else says "worry".

What should I do?

I say check it again, be sure. Then if its still not working right contact spektrum and see what they say. I think it has a 2-3 yr warranty, it will be boring while its gone if you have to send it in but they may have a great turn around time. why take a chance when the fix is probably free. just my 2 cents. :)
