Haha, I know, right!?
I gave in long ago and placed a pre-order, my friend.
I really like the size of this heli for practical reasons.
My most recent mantra for this hobby seeks for a high fun:cost ratio.
High fun value, low cost. Love it.

Ugghhhhhhhh... I want this soooo bad! To bad you can't pay a small fee to get it by the end of this month, so by the end of this week. I would pay a few extra dollars to have it early because it looks like they're done testing and just in the production process... I guess only 3 or 4 more weeks hopefully.

With my previous Walkera experience, this new Blade looks promissing. I hope it is as enjoyable as the MCPXs have ben.

Remember the first video of the mCPX, flying over the pool table doing rainbows and tic-tocs. Dang those professional pilots make this stuff look easy!

Yeah, they haven't invented the mockery/sarcasm font yet. Should be at least marginally better than the SR was and I wasn't very disappointed in mine for what it was. Taught me to fly relatively painlessly and without failures...other than a couple crashes after learning to fly and getting over zealous.

Ahhh, at last! Good to see them finally doing justice to the 300 class. I started out with the CP Pro 2, which I absolutely loved. As much as I'd like to, I don't think I'll be picking up one though. I already have too many projects taxing my meager heli budget.

You know I don't think I will be picking this up either. I already have a t-Rex 450 so I really don't see the need for this. I love my MCPX because I can practice 3d crash and get back up to fly. The 300x does not look like it is going to get back up after a crash like my mcpx. I practice with the mcpx then I fly my 450. If I did not have my 450 I might pick this one up but I don't see the need for it in my case. I already spend enough on one heli my 450 after a crash I just don't need another in my case. I am sure the 300x is going to be a great heli I just don't see the need for it. Plus I am starting to get a little tried of really having to search for parts for my mcpx. My local HS never has anything in stock. No boards, no blades, no landing skids, I got to search the Internet to stock up on parts. I love blade helicopters and I think the mcpx is one of there best products hell I own two of them but I can see the 300x running out of parts plus I just don't need one that size. But with that said I will read the reviews when it comes out and if everyone is talking it up about how great it is I bet I get one. LOL. :rolling. Just because I love this hobby and I love flying.

Now your problem is that you are applying good sound logic - when do we ever use logic when spending our heli funds!
JK aside, a 300 class heli opens up flying opportunites and venues for me - it'll fit with my work/home routine

A guy at my LHS says something along the lines
"Your not having fun, if your not crashing. "

I think the guy at your LHS meant: "I'm not having fun if you're not cra$hing."

Is it just the video, or is it really that loud?
Sounds like a really bad gear mesh or something.

Hmm, I thought it was about 'as expected'. The SR was pretty loud (compared to my 450 pro for example), too and had a pretty high headspeed. This headspeed is higher, and it's a more powerful heli overall (compared to the SR). My T250 FBL was pretty loud too, due to the headspeed.
That, and with a proper camera (usually camcorder or dedicated video camera) they're insanely good at picking up sound and use these crazy directional mics that zoom in with the focal length. So, if you zoom into the heli and point it at it, it will really pick up the sound and 'focus' on it.
Not sure if that' is adding to it...
...or, I suppose it could also be some slop from flying the crap out of it - I'm sure he's got a ton of flights on it.

I knew to expect motor and blade noise, but there is a distinctive ticking sound like a broken gear, or bad mesh on the TT gears or main gear. You can hear it more as he finishes the flight, goes to normal then TH.
