what is the most powerful motor form Readyheli or GrandRC?

Ready Heli does not have a lot of motor to fit the Hurricane yet. The best one that have now would be the Kontronic Tango 45-10. It is expensive but very nice and powerful.

In a short time Ready Heli will have the new Gaui 1500W 1100Kv motor. That will be very powerful and very reasonably priced.

We will have the Century 600 Outrunner here tomorrow (Same as Zpower Z30-1100, from same factory), GAUI 1500 watt motor in a few days (enroute), Z Power Z30-1100 hopefully soon, and a new motor company is winding something unique for us now, but no more details will be shared about this for a while...

ok what motor will give the most power witht he longest flight time... what motor is in the middle? it would make it easy if you could put them in a sort of list from most powerful to least, and another from most effiecient to least. this would help a WHOLE LOT.

boy, well, i guess the tango 45 would be the best, next to a neu 1515, but the can diameter will not fit between the bellcranks (yet), so your options are GAUI 1500 watt motor, Century Outrunner 600, and ZPOWER Z30-1100, and then the GAUI 1000watt that come stock...Tom Viper may have some other ideas too, and you may want to ask Finless.

thanks guys, hope to see some really great products for this heli.

Hehe, John you pretty much nailed them all

But one really great motor is the Z20-1470, it will give you long and powerfull flights, without worrying about stripped gears. You do need to get a extra 61T maingear for this motor, both 15 and 16 pinions work great. I used this for a long time myself.

Then there is the Z20-980 motor, that replaces the stock motor. but this is for longer flighttimes, and not power hungry 3D flying.

Won't Z30 consume less amps for example, while hovering, than Z20?

Yes it will. The Z30 is still King of the Hill. Dial down the HS and you´re set.

:) I hope you are keeping one a side for shipping. Please don't forget about those account details and inform me when you get those HP gears.

why would a Z30 consume less amps than a Z20 - in a hover?

thanks - Brent

Anyone has recommedation for the gear ratio for the following motors/
Pinion 1st gear
Z30 1100kv
Z20 980kv
Z20 1450kv

Appreciate if you can recommend a setting for mild 3D and longer flight time.

From what i heard, it's Z30A - in a hover.

From what i heard, it's Z30A - in a hover.

Is that means the Z30 has higher efficiency than Z20?

If this is the case, then Z30 will be the better choice if we use the same setting (HS and pitch) as Z20, and with the potential to have higher power output when setting to higher HS and pitch. Anyone can confirm this?

What about comparing the Z30 to the stock (850kv)? Can I say that the Z30 will have longer flight time when having the same setting on hovering?

Tom Viper made the tests and he will be the one to answer your questions.
