Dear all,

please advise between JR9303 and JR10X, which one better? As we know 9303 has synthesized module. Which one is better?
Thanks and regards,
andrew.

It depends. To me the big thing was the 9303 is three mode (heli, plank, glider) while the 10X is single mode (you need to buy separate TXs for plank and heli).

Not sure about the upcoming 12X.

But some one had 10x said he still can fly his aeroplan with his 10x too.... What do you think about that?

thanks and regards,
andrew.

Sure, you can still fly aero - if it is the same as I know. But the main menu, switches adn other functions are adjust to heli mode .-). That means - that everything setup from factory is made for people who wants heli, but there is no need to buy another radio, when you want fly a plane, except you have to make some changes in setup .-).
I donť have my experience from JR (I have 9303), but I have seen heli and acro mode from Futaba with F99 - it was the same, only change was in setup and lay-out of switches depends on which version it was.

As I understand it, the 10X heli doesn't have things like 2 servo and 4 servo wing setups, and things like that. No flaperons/spoilerons, etc.

You can do some of that with mixes, but you it is a lot of work versus a airplane radio.

And I have never heard of any features that would make a 10X heli better than a 9303.

Yep, what he said :)

Download the manuals and look through them. The 9x is much more flexible if you think you might ever want to fly anything other than a heli. Some people prefer the touch-screen interface on the 10x but I prefer the scroll wheel on the 9x myself. I personally cannot see any point at all in the extra cost of the 10x. I think very few people use any of the advanced heli features of the 9x, let alone whatever else the 10x might have in addition.

Of the two the best choice will be the 9Xv3 (2.4GHz) due out real-soon-now. You get the great features and flexibility of the 9x combined with the sensational performance and ultra-low latency of an integrated Spektrum solution and all the safety, reliability and convenience benefits of spread spectrum. Nothing else comes close. I guess if you have money to burn, or really need more than 9 channels, then the new 12X would be the way to go. There's just no appeal to the 10X anymore.
