Just get a 12z and use on my birds immidiately. But I found the motor wouldn't move until I push the stick to 17%.I notice that there has many staff relative with 17% such as Thr-hold/cut.All the mix turned off.I've spent several hours on it but still no solution for that.
So,hope somebody can help me out.
THX.

What kind of help you need. Sounds like your 12Z is working correctly.

Well,I need the motor start to move near 0% instead of 17%.
And I'd like to know the purpose why motor wouldn't start until 17%。
thanks

Try adjusting the throttle trim. Raising the trim would allow the motor to start closer to full low stick.

Is there any relative function I can switch off to recover the starting from 0% thro-stick?
Thank you for concerning.

I would think you would just adjust the throttle curve for more throttle at the lower points of the curve.
Or am I missing the something?

I think he is looking at the throttle and pitch precentages that show up on the main screen. He is wanting it to have 0% and the throttle to start engaging just above 0%. Never really seen electrics or nitros that would do that. Most time the throttle really doesn't start having effect to just below 1/4 stick.

Yes, that's what I mean.
I'm starting with the FF7 as my first remote and motor starts when I push the stick from 0%.
My question is:
*If throttle doesn't affact when 1/4 below, why the remote screen still shows the increasing of throttle. And, when the motor start to move, what rate is it starting with?0% or the rate of throttle?
*I can't figure out the reason for doing this and make no sense just change the thro-curve to make motor start from 0% stick.
Thanks.

Adjust the throttle trim as I mentioned a couple of posts back.
As for the FF7 and the motor starts when you push the stick from 0%. There is no way to tell it is 0 but the position of the stick. The 12 Z will start the motor at the same position from bottom if you will adjust the throttle trim on the transmitter.

if it was an electric, wouldn't you first need to recalibrate the throttle of the ESC ? I had this problem before and I just recalibrated the ESC with my radio and it worked.
