Up till now I've only flown 15% fuel and still have about 6 gallons left. I just bought for the first time ever 30% fuel. Some days I work on hovering and plan to use the 15%. Other days, I hope to have fun and run the 30%. Will I encounter any trouble? Anything I should look out for?

Just pick a fuel or your going to be tinkering with your engine tuning every time you fly a different "style"
30 percent needs to be a good bit richer.

30% is awesome! Nothing but power until you can't even see the heli. Anyone in NW Pennsylvania want a deal on a couple of gallons 15%?

hehe Figured thats all it would take.

Barracuda, I can't see myself using the 15% for anything after flying with 30%. I think the 50 hyper was made for 30%.

I think the 50 hyper was made for 30%.
Not really. In Japan they are only allowed to use 15% nitro. Unless they use a very low oil 30%. The 30% they are allowed only has like 12% oil.

How does oil content relate to nitro? More nitro, obviously more power. Why does wildcat offer two different oil percentages of 30%.

Most think the more nitro the more oil needed. I have used 30% nitro fuel that had 14% low viscosity oil. The fuel ran great and produced lots of power. Only downside is that can't miss on the needles any. There is no room for the mixture being lean.
The reason about the oil content and 30% nitro in Japan. Less oil equal less smoke. Low viscosity oil is going to smoke more than higher viscosity oil. Lower viscosity allows the motor to accellerate quicker.
Morgan also has 30% fuel with different types of oil and precentages.
30% LS is high viscosity oil at 18%
30% Heli High Performance is 22% Low Viscosity oil.

How does synthetic oil compare to regular. And is regular oil castor oil? I have nothing but questions.
