having never used one, I can't give you advice from experience. But, I saw one on the airfoil site. Look under products.

I haven't had very good luck with the laptop card. I bought one from Best Buy and had to return it becuase it caused it would not load correctly on my laptop with XP. I have a newer lap top and was pretty surprised that it would not work. I think some people have had good luck with them. I would try buying it locally so you could return it if needed.

I use the WINTV you can get at compusa for $50 ish. Its a device you plug into your usb on your computer then plug your downlink into the wintv. Works great on over 200 shoots, lets you watch TV on your computer too.

DJ had what I needed so I'm set now. Thanks all. My camera operator is much happier now than with the eyetops.

Can you give us any details on what you ended up using?

Thanks,

Sure. It's an Instant TV Cardbus made by ADSTech. Works well and I just have to plug my RCA video from the downlink into it and watch the live feed on my laptop. If the downlink signal wasn't so crappy, I could record right to the hard drive.

Dazzle has a full line of usb tools that can be found at at electronic stores like frys and Best buy
or

I have a downlink I hook up the RCA to it and the hook the Dazzle up via USB and can recod direct to pinnacle studio.

These can be found for about $25
